Spring Schedule and Standings
Due to several cross over games, the schedule and standings are all placed into 1 program for easier following. Here are a few important factors to keep in mind.
-Rankings - this helps us place teams in the proper place for playoffs. The Varsity teams will always be 1,2,3 unless a JV team consistently beats a Varsity team. Then a Varsity team can drop to 4. Modified teams will always be ranked 9,10 unless the modified teams consistently beats JV teams (already happening as FM modified has moved up to 8). The other JV teams will fall in the middle.
-Varsity and Modified teams will never play each other.
-Rankings will help place teams into a playoff system. Playoff system is not determined yet as we have to see how the games play out first. (could be top 4, middle 3, bottom 3)(could be top 3, middle 4, bottom 3)(could be top 3, middle 3, bottom 4) (could be top 5, bottom 5)
-Rankings are based on strength of schedule and wins/loses.
-If teams playing "up" (JV vs Varsity or Modified vs JV) are losing by 5 goals or more at any point in a game, an extra field player can be added to the game until the game is tied. The extra player is then removed.
Players MUST wear goggles to play!! Referee's can and will ask players to leave the field of play without them.

This year we will have 3 sessions to meet the requests of many teams. This allows teams to get at least 2 sessions in and most teams will play all 3. Club teams that travel in the spring can now play up to the time they travel without a gap in competitive games
